We were very privileged to have been asked to make a replica cake of the Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter! The finished product was on display for viewing at the Oamaru Library on Saturday before we took it down to Dunedin where it was then displayed at the Otago Rescue Helicopter charity ball. The public were very generous with donations. Thank you to everyone who was involved in the creation of this monstrous cake! It contained 75 eggs, 14 pounds of butter, 5 litres of milk, 60 cups of sugar and approximately 10kg of icing.
Pink Ribbon Breakfast 27 May 2018
In May we hosted a pink ribbon breakfast at The Criterion Hotel. Sue and her staff at The Criterion catered a lovely meal. We also gave away a cake in a silent auction. It was great to see the support of so many people who helped us raise over $3800 for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Cupcake Classes Tuesdays 4pm
Our after-school girl Maddie holds cupcake classes every Tuesday afternoon from 4-5pm for primary aged children. These sessions cost $20 each and are a great way for kids to learn new techniques and have fun. Each week the kids are able to take home the goodies they have decorated.
